more stuff


Hello all, looking forward to catch it up with more of you in tutorials next Monday, or find me when you need a chat.


For Thursday

Claire Raftery who is doing workshop with you on Thursday has asked that you learn some script ready for thursday. look at films or tv and suitable characters.

Also, please bring with you any tech stuff you have to download, film on etc. phones, laptops, iPads....


For Wednesday

In the morning:

Please as a group discuss Fringe Festival ideas.
Think big and ambitious so we can start pitching ideas. Most possible venues at the moment the Basement or the Warren. Please look at what other work did well this year at the festivals, Brighton & Edinburg. https://www.edfringe.com
We need to be current and innovative.
Think collaborations with media, music, site specific, promenade, technology, games designers..... Think big.
Also, please consider sources for adaptation. What would be meaningful to adapt in 2016? what big novels, big stories, classics might lend themselves to an innovative take? What is current, relevant and exciting in terms of content and style and audience engagement. Take notes and post on blog ready to pitch to the group and tutors.

In the afternoon:

Please prep the script for claire's workshop.
Please upload your filmed monologues on the blog on the utube channel so we can feedback.
Please send lisa and myself your workshop plans so we can organize and do the timings. short and effective and researched please.
